31 October 'Poutapossun talvikauden avajaiset' in the TAYS lobby and Sairaalahuvipuisto, as the TAYS 'hospital pig' returns from the Särkäniemi Amusement Park to TAYS for the winter months. A special program of Finnish children's music included the healing of a Sairas karhunpoika (a little bear cub who had fallen ill) [MP4 video].

Scenes from our 19 August 'soittoleiri' at Vilpeilän koulu in Sahalahti, with guest conductor Soila Takanen, who had chosen a playlist especially to work on phrasing and dynamics. It was a rewarding day for all. As Soila commented afterwards, "...oli hauskat, mutta myös hienon keskittyneet harjoitteluhetket! Sahalahdelta, Vilpeilän koululta, löytyi sympaattinen treenimiljöö. Paras palaute oli: vaikka hinkattiin jotain paikkaa kymmenettä kertaa, se ei ollut tylsää eikä typerää, vaan jokin ajatus oli aina viemässä eteenpäin. Puhallinmusiikki ja tekemisen meininki best!"
